Introducing Dispersogen™ SPX - our new high-performing stabilizer for pure silicate paints

Dispersogen™ SPX is our innovative, label-free stabilizer designed for pure silicate paint systems. This high-performing solution effectively reduces viscosity and enhances flowability while ensuring long-term stability during storage. While pure silicate paints are gaining popularity for their environmental benefits, they face stability challenges with high waterglass content formulations becoming thick and gel-like during storage.
With Dispersogen™ SPX, manufacturers can now maintain consistent performance throughout the storage period, keeping pure silicate systems workable and easy to use, all while meeting sustainability goals with its label-free profile.

Dispersogen™ SPX eliminates stability issues that are known for silicate paints by ensuring their excellent flowability before and after storage. In our tests, our new stabilizer reduced paint viscosity more than twice as effectively as the tested market alternative*. It also effectively maintained low viscosity during storage, both at room temperature and at 50 °C. Rheology tests confirmed the vastly better flowability after warm storage.

Performances in a nutshell* - viscosity of silicate paints upon storage

Dispersogen™ SPX eliminates stability issues that are known for silicate paints by ensuring their excellent flowability before and after storage. In our tests, our new stabilizer reduced paint viscosity more efficiently compared to market alternative (0.7% active content in the paint). It also effectively maintained low viscosity during storage, both at 23°C and 50 °C. Rheology tests confirmed the vastly better flowability after warm storage.
