Clariant brings new value to ammonia methanol and hydrogen industry in Asia with advanced catalyst products

As a leading supplier of Syngas catalysts, Clariant is enhancing its already strong technology in the Syngas business in South East Asia and in particular Indonesia, where more ammonia plants are being built with manufacturers looking to get more value out of their catalytic operations. Clariant's highly active AmoMax-10, widely considered one of the most significant breakthroughs after 100 years of Ammonia synthesis using the Haber-Bosch Process, conserves energy in ammonia synthesis as it optimizes yield. It enables ammonia plant operators to achieve excellent performance, energy savings and production efficiency.
Clariant's other featured product at the Conference, MegaMax 800, creates value for the users by greatly increasing the capacity of methanol plants. MegaMax 800 is an advanced and highly stable methanol catalyst with a long life, a low amount of byproducts and the flexibility to run in large and small production units with a variety of production technologies.

In addition to supplying catalyst products, Clariant's Catalysts business unit offers its customers complete service regarding the use of catalysts. Such service begins with supplying process information to the engineering contractor or the customer during the initial stages of design and construction of a plant; continues through start-up services when the plant is placed online; and subsequent follow-up service to assist the customer in maintaining optimum operating performance of the catalysts.
