THE HAZARDS OF CONVENTIONAL ADJUVANTS
Maximum harvest yields and highest qualities must be achieved with the smallest possible rational amounts of actives. Various adjuvants in use are potentially health hazardous or poorly biodegradable. They need to be used in high concentrations and require a precise composition to optimize the drift of the sprayed droplets of crop protection liquid.

EVEN DISTRIBUTION AND EFFICIENT MOBILIZATION OF ACTIVES COMBINED WITH RAPID PENETRATION
Synergen™ OS consists of two substances: methylated seed oil (MSO) – produced from plant oils – and a tailored polyglycerol ester (PGE) – produced from coconut oil –, which optimally complement each other in their mode of action. When the adjuvant is added to a crop protectant, its PGE content acts as a mediator between the aqueous and oily components to form an even dispersion or fine emulsion in the spray liquid. The MSO is swelling the network structure of the topmost layer of the leaf, which becomes more permeable and this enables the active molecules to rapidly penetrate into the leaf. Thus the use of polluting pesticides can be minimized through increased efficacy. Apart from the excellent environmental profile of the individual components, the pronounced reduction of drift demonstrates the special strength of Synergen™ OS.
